Wet Weather
June 26, 2007
Oklahoma is wet… and everyone is talking about it. On TV, at work, at church, shopping… it’s pervasive.
We’ve had more rain this year than all of last year. Granted, 2006 was a drought year, but it’s still an impressive total.
Some forecasts predict we could get almost 5 more inches of rain by tomorrow night alone.
From a guy who loves the rain, thunderstorms, and large weather events in general, it’s quite fun to watch and experience. But, from my construction/work side, it’s not so fun, because projects are delayed more and more. Some projects that could have easily been finished a month or two ago are now far behind schedule.
Such is the nature of mother nature - unpredictable.
